Re: Not a slight problem

No, it's not too late, 2ss, you're just giving up (true to form). The most important thing in all of life (business operations, military operations, RELATIONSHIPS of any kind) is COMMUNICATION (PROPER and EFFECTIVE communication). Talk to him (just like you did to us).

Yes, he has always sensed your "giving up" and emotional detachment, it broke his heart and demoralized him, it destroyed his dreams. But do you think for one moment that he wouldn't want you to be honest with him so that you both could be as intimate as you once were? (and you will have a stronger, more intimate relationship than ever). You letting things fall apart would be a crime against humanity. Think of your children and all of your dreams. Talk to him like you spoke to us.

The real problem is not what you really thought (what is usually thought to be the problem usually is not). Personal problems are very often defined subjectively (from a person's own point of view as though they are the victim), but the real problem is just what you said...
I must admit I don't smile much and I don't have very much fun in life. I think I'm scared to. (there's something bothering you, you feel an insecurity about something. WHAT?).
