Re: Contradictions?

Esme

why so argumentative? I didnt find anything at all inflammatory in rabbitears posts. She is merely stating 2 logical points. That "scattering" doesnt typically occur on its own and that most people are not INFESTED with parasites. You either have them or you dont. Some entities would have us believe that everyone is loaded with parasites and their products erdicate all parasites but that you must deworm for the rest of your life or suffer the consequences. Kind of a contradiction in terms. NORMALLY, our bodies mount a very strong immune response to parasites... where upon you will note marked eosinophilia among other acute infection symptoms like fever, diarrhea or vomiting. The more infected we become the less of an immune response and eventually we are left with only parasite symptoms with no immune response. With eradication of the parasites the immune response is eventually restored ... we are not magically reinfected. What a depressing proposition that would be. The scattering phenomenom is probably larval migration more likely than actual "scattering" of adult parasites, as most parasites can only survive close to a food source ie hookworms are not found in the muscle or organs etc. Most larvae dont eat, they simply migrate (scatter)until they end up back to the target location. This is not a new phenomenom but a well documented natural stage of development in most parasites. Adult parasites are usually pretty silent, aside from stealing your nutrients... which is how they survive. Its the larvae that create havoc migrating through the body. At any rate, hope this helps to dispel the misunderstanding between what rabbitears was saying and to what you may have misunderstood. She is typically the voice of reason on the forum. In the future you might try to give her the benefit of the doubt at first thought.

best to you
