Re: Interesting response...
Regarding how to take herbs: well, caps or tabs are okay with hot water, but herbs for the kidneys should be taken as teas, which is what I do. In general, though, herbs are probably most absorbed as infusions or decoctions.
I really appreciate all your viewpoints, but as to E.F.T., it does not "speak to me". I went to a practitioner of this technique for some emotional/mental issues a dozen years ago, and I immediately disliked this. Can't quite explain why, but it did not work at all. I know that many people swear by it, so it comes down to Different Strokes for Different Folks, I guess. Some crazy people would rather suffer through the removal of their gallbladder, with all the ensuing lifelong digestive problems, instead of try some natural techniques first. I see that as mental illness - not even considering something that is harmless.
Yes, I tried the advice in Pitchford's book.
I have seen
parasites only after flushes (rolled up "tomato skins") or
coffee enemas (long white things).
That's my tale of woe, or maybe I should say "Whoa!"
Tks for your lengthy response.
