yes, but do you notice that it did not make any difference to our society when they found out the outcome? in fact, you cannot even locate it on their website any longer. and, i will give you two more examples. one, the phillip morris company hired a panel to study cigarettes to see if they were safe. the panel found out they cause cancer and were not safe. so, the company fired the panel or reassigned them and made them get rid of all the results and keep their mouth shut. i saw this many years ago on tv. while they were not a part of the government, they are very powerful like our government, and they may have done that study with gov't money, don't know. but, the next example IS the government conducting a study, then ignoring the results, just as they did with the Nhanes III:
Dr. Weston Price spent 35 years...in research. [For 14 years,] he was the...Director of Research for the Amercian Dental Association.... He studied diseases of the heart, kidney, uterus, nervous system and endocrine system resulting from toxins seeping out of root canal filled teeth. He became aware that a certain percentage of people are sensitive to toxins that are manufactured within these dead teeth. The treatments he researched are basically the same...that are [the] foundation of today's root canal work. Research convinced Dr. Price of many truths that we still have a hard time...[understanding], even today. We remain bogged down in "that's the way we've always done it" thinking. We have been too habitual to adopt this sense of new "truth".
