Re: amalgam and resin filling

Your Conspiracy theories don't address my question. Nobody doubts whether there are studies to support Amalgam is bad. The question is WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE EVIDENCE? Quality! Any baffoon with an agenda can "publish a study". The "studies" supporting the evils of Amalgam tend to demonstrate low-level evidence, lack appropriate controls, do not account for bias, and do not hold up to peer-review. Textbooks are among the least reliable sources of information due to the inherent bias of the author. Before you decide how much you want to believe certain data, you should ask yourself "what is the QUALITY of this data?"

Evidence-Based Medicine supports the highest-level of evidence available: the randomized control trial. This type of research utilizes controls, eliminates bias by using blinding and randomization, and are very difficult to refute in peer-review. Here's an example of a randomized control trial:

I have looked through the Cochrane database and cannot find any HIGH-LEVEL evidence against amalgam. I invite anyone here to help me locate this evidence, because I would love to be enlightened.
