You have asked one dentist. This is akin to aking one religous person about a god-related topic. Depending on the philosophy and training of the one you ask, you will receive a different answer if you ask more than one religious person.

Same with dentistry, different dentists will give different answers. You are perfectly allowed to accept the opinion of just one, and you are perfectly allowed to proceed to ask others, the choice is yours.

One way to evaluate the advice of religious practitioners, would be to ask their patients whether they got to heaven or not. Unfortunately, we cannot do this within our currentl realm. However, we do have the ability to obtain experiences shared by others with regards to Amalgam removal. My observation is that more often than not, people report favorable results after having toxic mercury metal removed from the oral cavity from which they swallow spit every 30 seconds or more frequently.
