What state(s) are you licensed in ? States do vary in instructions given to juries. One example, most states don't instruct juries on the doctrine of jury nullification, except Indiana and one other state. Do you know which one it is ? Remember, it was jury nullification which let William Penn walk for preaching without a license, and that principle was a cornerstone of American Jurisprudence for over a century. American Jurisprudence is not taught in all states of the US any longer, and there is a reason.
Lastly, think about what you have said, and ask the question: "would any reasonable man trust the testimony of a witness, if that witness had been proven to have told deliberate falsehoods while under oath ?" Stated another way, would you want your daughter, son, brother or wife to be considered rightfully convicted if they were being charged with a capital crime and the key witness was a known liar ?
