No bread - then why in the Bible?

I'm not trying to debate anything, but truly wish to understand. MH - you have talked about how grains/breads are not human foods. Yet in the Bible there was significant proof that Jesus ate bread. Was it different than the bread we see today? As I cannot see Jesus, the son of God, eating anything that God Himself did not put on this earth for human consumption. Anyone with more nutritional smarts and bible smarts than I, feel free to jump in and help me understand this.

Thanks!
Marnie
