i had this instaled when i was 18 which i still am. it is awesome! initially there is a lot of pain, but the Acne and Depression aren't as high with this, because i am like you and went through a whole lot of different kinds, but this just was the smarter idea, especailly if you don't want kids for the next five years. so i hope this helped you, and yes the periods do ease with most girls.
