Re: Mirena IUD and depression?

I have had the mirena Iud for about 7 months. I am alot less depressed now than when I was on the pills when I was on the pills I was depressed and mean the whole time they nearly drove me nuts, but with the IUD I'm a much happier person the only thing is I do not have a period at all and I think its making me gain weight easier and its hader for me to loose weight (but that could be just me) other than that I like it. The docter is not suposed to insert the IUD if you have'nt had children because the risk of it falling out is higher if you have'nt had at least one child so you should ask your doctor about that and I'm shur you do'nt want to waste $500 dollars.
