Re: Mirena IUD and depression?

hi there, well i may be different to you all. i have had the mirena IUD now for over 3 years and was the best thing i ever did. I suffered form periods happening every 2 weeks then lasting for 10 days solid have has ectopic pregnancies and 7 miscarriages i also have 2 healthy boys who are noe 10 and 8. the Drs where at there last to do with me and i was classed as a test case in New Zealand. and i suffered so badf from PMS i thought i was going crazy to be honest like i had a crazy woman living in my head. But since i had this god send in i havent had a period in 3 yrs, no moodiness, acne, weight gain, nothing. all i might say is i shed alot of hair and i grew a few whiskers on my chin(but this mighta happened any was with getting older) i am now 36 and am planning to have it removed to see if i have now gotten into a regular cycle..... i have had period problems since i was 11 yrs old.... and am planning another child thins year, crossing fingers!!! well i hope i have helped others out there and please if you want email me any question.... im only to willing to help, as i say was the best thing ever happened im almost not looking forward to go back to periods... other reason i got it is i wasnt ready for the full hystorectomy cause i wanted another child..... this was the next best thing!!!!! let me know? byeeeeeeeeee Tweet
