... how others judge of my spiritual path, however I thought it odd that the term 'apostasy' (spelled correctly here) should be seemingly pointed at the Esoteric Christian forum...

"An abandonment of what one has voluntarily professed; a total desertion of departure from one's faith, principles, or party; esp., the renunciation of a religious faith"

Many here have outgrown traditional Christianity, not renounced Christian ideals. We choose not to stay in spiritual grade school our whole lives, but to graduate on to a deeper understanding.

The point of my reply was ... is the next step for us then to be confined to eternal damnation? Most traditional Orthodox Christians really do belief that is the fate for all of us 'free thinkers'.
