The God of the Bible has a way of peace that people don't like because it involves humility versus pride. Until that is embraced, He sure has permissive will and governmental control of evil thru military provision. I can't imagine how you don't understand how humbling it is for a Christian who knows God's value of life to even pursue military action or embrace the death penalty as a deterrent to evil. It isn't something taken lightly or viewed gleefully. Do you understand that a Christian God has involved in making such decisions knows that seeking God's will in those 2 instances means God has determined the last breath for those individuals that are taken in death? It would be a gut-wrenching experience to make such a call.
