Re: Children x 2 ...
I don't want to see this devolve (good word, huh... yuk, yuk) into flaming.
I just posted up top:
"The issue with the debates here recently seems to be between those who shed what we perceive as the limitations of traditional Christianity and those who consider those 'limitations' are their core beliefs."
With that in mind, Traditionalists are taught believe we are completely and utterly wrong and they are completely and utterly right. No question. Over and out. In many cases, it is blasphemous to question their faith. They can't help it, most have been indoctrinated from birth with this attitude.
With that in mind, we know we will probably never penetrate their programming with our point of view, (or is it even our place to? ... they need to awaken on their own). Heck, some folks actually benefit from those traditional beliefs under some conditions, as that is the only system they are able to grab onto to better themselves. And far be it from me to invalidate anyone else's beliefs...
Anyway, your gallantly in rushing to support a damsel in distress is admirable, however let's just not wage war here and it won't be necessary...
