Here you are, frequenting a site whose basic purpose is to show others the way to physical health by giving up the blame game for how poorly The System has treated them and to bear the responsibility for their own part in the choices they made and to create for themselves the health they desire. Has it not occurred to you that the solution to spirituality is no different?

Did they really corrupt you?

Like it or not, trapper, your answer to that question resides entirely within the realm of your free will, and you bear the consequences of your choice.

(Don't you claim something similar about whether or not I choose Jesus?)

Knowledge and awareness and personal choice (i.e. "sin") have always been taught to be evil by those who seek to keep men ignorant and enslaved, but the real evil -- torturing children; slaughtering innocents by the hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands; enslaving others; rape and forced marriage through conquest -- all this and more is enshrined as God's Good Work in the Old Testament.
