Yes there is evidence that biblical writings are based in real events and there are also biblical events which are completely contradicted by the archeological evidence as well. There are also many other religions that have their events supported by archeological evidence too.

It is the whole house of cards idea. If you can show that there are any mistakes, errors or outright false hoods in any philosophy, even the smallest detail, and then you have to question whether or not the rest is accurate and can be entrusted with your faith. If you don't challenge something then how can one ever know if is the truth or not. Sans is asking very good questions that we all have the right to ask.

Yes it did predict the coming of the Jewish messiah but below you choose to ignore that prophesy because one of the prerequisites to the coming of the messiah was the reincarnation of Elijah.
