Chris!!

Thanks for the response.

I too am a (normally) 180 lb lean tall guy. I have been on and off the diet, but long enough to lose about 20 lbs for a while there. I dont want to lose any weight, but am willing to do it if I can gain the muscle back. I am a type O, so I plan on eating more clean meats and oils than the basic diet.

What reasons did you do the diet for? I have just about all the symptoms of candida overgrowth, but I did an antibody test for it by GSDL, and it came back in the normal range. This totally killed my enthusiasm for this hard ass diet, so I quit. Since then, I went to an md/nd and he told me that my adrenals were "shot," I have gut dysbiosis, and my liver is weak for starters. I am moving to a new apartment tomorrow, and plan to start the diet again, hopefully long-term, then.

Very interested to hear about your take on chinese medicine. The doctor I went to did muscle testing on me, testing some supplements that are supposedly "energetically balanced" or something. Now, I am a student at a science/technology research university, so I am pretty skeptical of things that seem so unbelievable. Is this stuff for real, the energy meridians, organ pressure points, etc? I need to figure this out, and soon, before I spend any more money on this doctor.

You surf? I just got back from longboarding, I love it.

Thanks alot for your input.

Brandon,
GA
