BED week 3 - profound fatigue, weight loss--looking for suggestions
In the third week of the body ecology diet, I've by now lost 20
lbs. off my already thin frame and am so weak that I cannot work my normal carpentry jobs.
I am wondering if there are body types for which this diet is not a good idea. Obviously it seems good idea for people who are overweight and eat lots of junky food. I am skinny and had a relatively
healthy Diet going before doing the BED. I have been following the diet closely and just started doing
colonic hydrotherapy to see if that would help. It hasn't helped yet.
It would be wonderful if someone (donna gates?) started gathering some statistics about percentages of people who benefit or not from this diet, body types, etc. Several years ago I got into a raw foods diet for awhile and developed chronic fatigue which it took me three years to recover from. Various people seem to thrive (at least for awhile) on various of the many diets going around and others don't do well. It would be great if the proponents and founders of these various diets were thoughtful and concerned enough about the repercusions of their work to be more than promoters, but also to provide some solid data about results and the evolution of their work.
I appreciate finding this forum. It looks like there are some people who've posted here who are many months or years into this diet who haven't had good results and others who've had good results. This forum might be a good place to start compiling data (although it would probably be weighted toward those for whom BED is working well).
Any thoughts or suggestions for me (especially from skinny people)? Thanks in advance!
