Thanks to everyone who responded with suggestions. Here's what happened: Three colon hydrotherapy sessions didn't seem to help my energy and I was too weak to work (construction) for a month, so after four weeks I quit the diet. I got ahold of the body ecology vitagreen product toward the end of week four and that seemed to give me some energy, but it felt like too little too late.
I would say that at the very least that the diet was much more demanding time-wise (preparing food) and economically (not being able to do physical work) than I was prepared for.
I really don't have any idea whether the diet was a good one for me or not. I've never noticed digestive problems from combining protein, complex carbs and oil in moderation and in fact I feel like I get good energy from meal that includes all those things, as well as vegetables. There were also emotional factors (a house purchase for one) happening during the time that could have been a drain on my energy. I'd like to hear more feedback from skinny people who've tried the diet.
