I have never had a NDE but do read a lot about the afterlife. The Library sounds like that described in the Monroe Trilogy -- on Level 27, I believe.
While you both had severe physical-life traumas of having died, your glimpses into what lies beyond must allow you to function with tremendous self-confidence from having additional knowledge of the Universe. How would you say that you live differently? Does this knowledge remove the fear factor of what lies beyond and allow you to live your life more fully? Do you interact with your fellow man more now, both for broader experiences and to give greater aid and encouragement to others?
