Re: 7-year-old daughter
Thanks for your quick reply!
We have done several things you mentioned in your post. My daughter ate the usual American diet until she was 3, when through an applied kinesiologist we found she was really allergic to corn. Over the next few years we also eliminated dairy, gluten, artificial flavors and colors, and refined sugar. Of course, we cannot gain back the years she ate badly, but for 4 years she has been pretty clean.
The cream is a good idea. Where would you rub it? All over her, or just certain areas?
We do eat organic when we can, but we are in a part of the country where organic is sparse. My daughter has never really liked meat much but she does like turkey and fish, so we have that 3/4 times a week. She eats a large amount of millet, sweet potatos, avocados, other fruits and vegetables, and nuts and seeds. Homemade plain organic yogurt (the only dairy we allow, as the caseine is gone).
We are very careful about soaps and shampoos as so many contain corn derivatives.
If you have any further ideas, PLEASE let me know. I'll be out looking for cream today!
