Re: 7-year-old daughter

This seems to be an all too common situation these days. Your daughter is not alone in this. There is such an enormous onslaught of things that can play havoc with our health, and seeing our young daughters go through this is heartbreaking. A child in my daughter's third grade class is in the same situation. I was talking to her concerned mom, and she shared with me how the pediatrician had suggested giving the child hormone shots to thwart the process. This seemed like a horror to me, as who knows what kind of serious consequences this artificial game of hormones may play in the future?

I told her the same thing I'll tell you, and that I try to look out for with my own daughter (8).
If you consume meats and dairy products, make sure they are organic, meaning without pesticides or hormones. Most supermarkes nowdays sell organic eggs, milk and yogurt and cheese, as well as chicken and beef. Soy of course is a major contributor, but it's so hard to avoid as they stick it into everything, including health food store items.
You may try rubbing one of the plant derived (wild yam) progestin creams that they sell at the health food stores, 2x a day, like a.m and p.m. It can't hurt her, and the progesterone may balance the overactive estrogens to halt the process. Probably one of the greatest challenges facing a little girl with this condition, is the difficulty that could arise emotionally from having a body that is going way ahead of the emotional development. Here is where great sensitivity, awareness and communication from you is very important.
Another suggestion may be taking her to a kinesiologist for muscle testing. This may be a way to find out what things in her diet or environment are contributing to the precoucious puberty.
Blessings to you.
