most dentists do not cut the fillings out.  pieces are bigger than particles.  no one in our office is swallowing mercury.  they may get some dust (which is the definition of particles), but that is it, and a very small amount.  what is worse than that, and what we all have to deal with, is the vapor.  it cannot be seen.  we use 3 air filter/ionizer machines, but it is so volatile, that it will be there. 

chelating right afterward is ok.  i did it, went whole hog, shoved down 30 plus supplements a day, chugged the vitamin C, etc....  i was near death, could not eat food anymore, beforehand.  got better the next day and every day after.  and, i was diagnosed with mercury and nickel poisoning prior.  it's funny, people make such a huge deal of all these things you are supposed to do after.  dentists don't do anything when they put them in.  dentists should be careful taking them out, but dentists should take the same caution putting them in.
