Re: 12 POINTS on MERCURY TOXICITY

Cilantro mobilizes mercury, but does not bind to it and carry it through the body.  Chlorella binds with aluminum and other heavy metals to pull them out.  Chlorella also enhances mobilization of mercury compartmentalized in non-neurologic structures such as the gut wall, muscles, ligaments, connective tissue, and bone.

Hal Huggins has a new booklet:  Detoxification, Post-dental-revision protocol for eliminating residual toxins, available at his website.

Dr. Huggins, D.D.S., M.S.  is a leading pioneer in identifying toxic dental materials and balancing body chemistry and has a post-doctoral Master’s with emphasis on immunology and toxicology from the University of Colorado.

Dr. Huggins became intrigued by blood chemistry and how it could be used to determine a patient's nutritional needs, as well as to monitor progress of a patient's treatment plan.

While expanding his chemistry interpretations, Dr. Huggins met Olympio Pinto, C.D., of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Dr. Pinto introduced him to the concept of mercury toxicity, and Dr. Huggins immediately found correlations between dental materials and chemistry changes. His first cases had "accidental" rapid improvements that captured his attention and inspired him to delve into the depths of chemistry, endocrinology, toxicology, and immunology to develop what is now the most advanced technology for treating dental material-stimulated degenerative and autoimmune diseases.

In 1990, he founded the Huggins Diagnostic Center, which embodies multiple health disciplines, including medicine, dentistry, biochemistry, hematology, toxicology, pathology, nutrition, nursing, psychology, movement education, Feldenkrais (a gentle body discipline that reintroduces the muscular system to the nervous system), acupressure, massage, and sauna therapy, in one diagnostic and treatment facility, all under a team direction.

Chlorella is an important part of the systemic mercury elimination program, as approximately 90% of the mercury is eliminated through the stool. Using large doses of chlorella facilitates fecal mercury excretion. After the intestinal mercury burden is lowered, mercury will more readily migrate into the intestine from other body tissues from where chlorella will effectively remove it.

Chlorella is not tolerated by about one-third of people due to gastrointestinal distress. Chitosan can be effectively used as an alternative in these individuals. Chitosan makes up most of the hull of insects shellfish and also bind metals like mercury from the lumen of the intestines.

Cilantro

Omura determined that cilantro could mobilize mercury and other toxic metals rapidly from the CNS.

Cilantro mobilizes mercury, aluminum, lead and tin stored in the brain and in the spinal cord and moves it into the connective tissues. The mobilized mercury appears to be either excreted via the stool, the urine, or translocated into more peripheral tissues.

The mechanism of action is unknown. Cilantro alone often does not remove mercury from the body; it often only displaces the metals form intracellularly or from deeper body stores to more superficial structures, from where it can be easier removed with the previously described agents. The use of cilantro with DMSA or DMPS has produced an increase in motor nerve function.

The Mitigation of Methyl Mercury Vapor Inhalation and Exhalation in People with Dental Amalgam Fillings

it took 50 times more normal chlorella to bind as much mercury vapor as NDF. This explains why most of the testing done with normal chlorella has shown it to be 'lacking' as a heavy metal chelator.

(Nanocolloidal Detox FactorsTM)

Why "Nanonize" the Ingredients?

Chlorella is known in mining to bind heavy metals to its cell wall. Yet many people have taken Chlorella with no benefit. The reasons are that all of the available chlorella is not really 'cell wall broken' and that most of it is already contaminated with heavy metals. Enclosed are before and after micrographs of our processing of the best, heavy metal free, currently available "Broken Cell Chlorella" taken at 400x on a DarkField microscope:

The picture clearly shows that not only are ALL of the cell walls in tact, but the individual diatoms are tightly clustered in groups of about 500 units each. This would be very difficult to digest and may explain why some people get gastro intestinal distress when taking normal chlorella but not with NDF. Nanocolloidal cell wall decimated chlorella has never been available so far!
