Re: Feeling horrible after liver flush - Can anyone help me?

Preparation isn't required. This is a maximum strength protocol to clear the biliary system where stones are suspected.

Gallbladder pain is felt commonly in the rib cage. There is a condition called Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction (SOD).This causes abdominal pain which located in mid (around the navel) or right-upper (below the ribs) abdomen might. The pain may also be felt in the back and shoulders can last anywhere from several minutes to several hours. It can be a mild, dull throbbing pain, or so severe that the individual is incapacitated. However, this condition usually effects people who have had the gallbladder removed.

The problem is that so many conditions of the digestive system cause pain in the same area and self diagnosis by internet research doesn't help.

When does the pain occur? and how long after eating. [Eg. 4:00 PM 3 hours after lunch] If it is a spasm of the sphincter it may respond to anti-spasmodic drug such as alverine citrate.
