Went to my GP today

So I just got back from visiting my GP and had her look at my tongue.

She said its geographic tongue and the medical name for it is glositis.

She said there could be several causes of this and definitely looked like some of the papillae were inflamed or irritated.

She said this could be a symptom of something else going on within my body and did mention it could be a small localized yeast infection in my mouth.

She has suggested that I get off all my vitamin supplements, switch back to a flouride toothpaste (I was using a flouride, SLS free one for a while now) and has prescribed an anti-fungal lozenge, cortisone powder and I also asked for a STD test just in case.

I'm all about natural products and hate the fact that she wants me to use a cortisone powder, but am resigned to listen to her instructions and see what happens.

Any thoughts
