Re: No candida but white coated tongue?? Any advice

Thanks for clarifying Cheshire, I think I was under the impression that if you have a coated tongue that IS thrush that its root cause is somewhere deeper in your body and its showing up on the tongue.

Is it possible that I simply have thrush just on my tongue and no other candida in my body? I know that sounds like a stupid question, but everything I read says that candida only thrives in immune compromised people and I have a hard time believing I'm immune compromised since as I mentioned I feel great overall.

I'll go about trying some natural anti-fungals and see what happens. Tongue scraping and using the mouth wash have made a noticeable difference, with the biggest difference coming from the tongue scraper.

Lastly could my diet be the cause of all this too? High high animal protein and fat? That would seem to make a lot more sense to me since I never have eaten this much animal protein in my life prior to this... I've always eaten a high protein diet, but used lots of whey powders before.
