Today I found my new ally against my thrush - milk of magnesia (read where it helps with thrush). using a cotton swab and dousing it in milk of magnesia i am able to scrub (kind of hard) and literally peel a layer of white crud off my tongue. pretty wild since i have had it for so long. Hope that helps
