Re: Doctors milk dying cancer patients for every last dollar
First, tamoxifen is a standard chemo therapy compound. Where are you coming from?
Second, this is a test showing that two chemos working together can produce better results in one specific cancer.
Third, this (breast cancer) is one of the 3 or 4 types of cancer that this chemo actually has some effect.
fourth, what number actually survived?? Hmmmm, they forgot to mention that.
It does not work with Liver cancer, Pancreatic cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, brain cancer, adrenal cancer, or most others.
That aside, there are alternatives that work better. No studies? Wonder why? Money!!!!
>- Wow!!!! A person has lung cancer with only 30 days to live and they quit smoking and do nothing else and their cancer goes away? I know personally that that isn't true.
Oh! Yeah? Read "Remarkable Recovery".
And who said he did nothing else? I dated a lady who proudly professed that she was saved from leukemi by taking interferron ( which has since been proven to have no effect on leukemia ). I asked her if she changed anything in her lifestyle, eating habits, etc. Continuously, she argued that she changed nothing. A few nighs later, she mentioned that she wanted to go have Mexican. Every day after her interferon treatment she would go across the street and eat hot salsa and spicy mexican foor which she had never done before. Now she ate Mexican at least twice a week. So, there is your answer. Peppers and some other spicy oods are known to reverse Leukemia.
>- Treatment is in the hands of the patient in every case that I'm aware of.
Sure, that is true. But, I will tell you how it works.
My wife, a heavy smoker since the age of 9, had lung cancer at 58 far worse that the person you mentioned. Her main tumor was the length of a football and was wrapped around her heart. Completely inoperable and could not be radiated. Her secondary tumor was on the left adrenal and was the size of a grapefruit. The next 6 tumors in size were all in the brain, inoperable and not reasonably radiationable. One was the size of a golf ball.
They gave her probably 2 weeks to an absolute max of 4 weeks. When she told her doctor that she wanted to go alternative, the doctor said "I don't do alternative, go somewhere else".
You should have seen all of the doctor's dropped jaw expressions when they saw her walking down the corridor for the resisted scheduled tests 2 months and 3 months later. She was recovering but did suffer pain.
Sadly, the doctor changed her pain reliever and prescribed a pain reliever that had a minor ingredient that she was alergic to. She died of kidney and liver failure within a week after the prescription was given.
She might not have made it in the long term, but she outlived the doctor's projection by 4 to 7 times on nothing but nutritional and alternative therapy and would have lived longer if it was not for the wrong pain medication.
So, if you think that chemo is the only thing that works, forget it. You are seriously misled.
