I use 2 pint measuring jugs. I find these easier to clean. I leave a gap at the top and cover with cling wrap. I strain into another jug, so it makes it easier to pour into a glass as well. It lasts a few days, as the dog likes it too. You can just plop the kefir grains into the jug when washed and start again. I usually rinse my grains but apparently Mama doesn't, so wondering whether to bother in future.
