Wow, a very long and detailed article. I have bookmarked it for later reading.

Yes, homemade kefir and yogurt are fermented to the point where the Sugar is used up. It's the Sugar content that feeds the fermentation. As scarface mentioned, homemade is best and one can also make kombucha or water kefir which also are Sugar free enough that even diabetics can drink them once they are completely fermented.

I see that author recommends fermented veggies! Good deal, I agree.

UPDATE! Forgive me for jumping the gun on my remarks! I just read the whole secton on kefir and yogurt and she makes some VERY good statements and explains in detail why she believes this. I glaced over the entire article and found I agree with most everything she is saying! I am now going to read the entire article carefully.

I never had a problem that I was aware of with digesting milk or store bought kefir, but I used to believe I had candida overgrowth, but after years of trying to 'fight' it, now I'm not so sure I even had it. So confusing!
