Hey Sara, I drink the same drink as you except with raw agave instead of honey. Like with your experience drinking a spinach smoothie, I digest them just as easily too. I really believe leafy greens combine with fruit very well. Speaking of smoothies, try this one; unsweetened almond milk, raw agave, banana, strawberries, a lot of raw ginger (very good for your health) cinnamon and ice cubes. To die for on a hot summer day!
