Re: Fasting versus eating for weight loss, "descent before touchdown"

Hi marieln, I have a food processor and a Jack LaLanne juicer, and yes I have heard of these smoothies, I have yet to try them. I should soon. Kale is a great choice, that is top of Fuhrman's list of nutritionally dense foods. I'll be getting my weeks supply form an organic farmers market on Sunday, along with other goodies.

At the moment I am eating mainly steamed veg or salads, I sometimes make a dressing of balsamic vinegar and lemon juice, with some ground seeds.

I have got to the state where I can eat kale, Brussels sprouts or broccoli raw, though I prefer them steamed. I also like raw peas and raw broad beans. I tried eating a raw potato, but it was not very enjoyable.

Thanks for the beer tip!
