Re: Fasting versus eating for weight loss, "descent before touchdown"
mouseclick,
You have done well in short time loosing your weight. But let’s look at it.
In those fasting periods the weight disappeared seemingly fast but the real weight loss was lot smaller. Your body only lost lot of liquid and the weight rapidly increased soon after fast.
The hardest part is still in front of you. You have set your target weight where you would like to go. If you wish to keep it there for following 12 or 24 months, only then we can say that you really succeeded!
I have been through the journey more than ones. Now my weight stays relatively easily in BMI below 25.
For that achievement I had to say good bye for most of the carbohydrates (not all) most of the refined
Sugar and white flour products, visible fat in meat as well as using oils sparingly. Also it was necessary to scale down the total quantity of food.
It appears to me that there is the BIG SECRET in staying at ideal weight!
However I feel that I am eating well and enjoying my food as much as before.
So what I am saying: Stop worrying about the time it takes to your perfect “landing”.
Now is the time to modify the food intake to a comfortable form for the long term future and stop thinking that you are on diet of some sort!
Remember this, more restrictions you set to your eating, more difficult it is to maintain permanently!
Good luck, you can do it!
