Re: Organic wine & Elephant artists (o/t)
I may be going away for a short break soon, and that will mean me being with people who like to "pub it".
I'll try not to drink, we will see. But I like wine and especially Rosé, and have no desperate desire to give it up forever, though you never know. I think it's probably a little addiction, just like coffee.
In "Eat for Health" Dr Fuhrman asks "What about alcohol? Should I be drinking red wine for my heart health?
The short answer is no, alcohol is not actually heart-healthy; it simply has anti-clotting effects, much like aspirin. He goes on for a paragraph or two about it.
But the other problem is British pubs don't sell organic wine, or at least not that I am aware of. I'll look out for it.
By the way, totally unrelated but I was tonight told the story of elephants painting beautiful pictures with an easel and canvas. It seems humans are not the only one to celebrate art.
I Googled it, found a video clip and did a short blog.
