What if you are allergic to psyllium

I got hives the last 2 times I took psyllium. I worked with latex gloves for about 10 years, so I think I may have developed a hypersensitivity. Do other types of fiber work. I have been using FiberSmart to help alleviate cleanse symptoms during my general, parasite and liver cleanses. So far no mucoid, but I haven't tried Bentonite. FiberSmart has flax seed, Borage seed, Guar Gum, Fennel Seed, Slippery Elm Bark, and some other stuff. it is more expensive than Psyllium, but doesn't give me hives. Do you think it will give mucoid plaque with Bentonite?

I guess I can try it and report back.
