Re: Jimmy Asks: Salmonella in raw eggs?

I read that salmonella was actually fairly rare and that it is from the chicken feces on the OUTSIDE of the egg, not inside.

So I clean my eggs before using them in a solution of hydrogen peroxide, and I check for cracks too. I don't use eggs with cracked shells, since that's how bacteria can enter the egg.
