  as mentioned there it turned out that green tea can also do the trick, let the water boil, wait for 1,5 - 2 minutes cooloff, then brew the tea for NOT LONGER than 5 minutes. This way, you will get the highest concentration of the main ingredient EGCG, here:

  The water temperature can also be roughly determined without a thermometer. The later the water is used for infusion after boiling, the lower the temperature of the water.

  Water temperature 1 to 2 minutes after boiling about 80 °C (Oolong tea, yellow tea, white tea)

  Water temperature 8 to 9 minutes after boiling about 60 °C (Japanese green tea)

  You can use the tea leafs for a second brew, but you will not get the EGCG with the second brew, so just drink it for pleasure :-)

    The acetaldehyde (Ach) connection here looms larger with every passing moment. Red blood cells are capable of providing "catch and release" transport of Ach to all parts of the body. Having a source of Ach (ie. Candida Albicans) in the intestinal mucosa means that Ach is being generated in a region external to the liver where the normal ethanol to Ach to acetate detoxification reaction is performed. The downstream toxic effects of Ach circulating in the bloodstream are horrendous. Its size and shape and electrophilic nature are allowing it to behave just like a heavy metal atom (eg. lead/cadmium) with the same suite of dire consequences.

        Wondro hasn't been marketed since the early 1950's and it is only recently that it has been demonstrated that it can be safely made in the kitchen in single dosage quantities (see "Astrophysiology and Yeast -- Wondro For One"). I have tested this and tried it but am currently using the "Astrophysiology and Yeast -- Yeast Abatement Protocol" which is a combination of homeopathics and supplements with timed-released N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine ("Resbid") as the acetaldehyde scavenger. This appears to work but the historical success of Wondro in light of the acetaldehyde connection makes it yet another option if problems arise.

The surface area of the small intestine is vast because of the villi folds that increase its absorptive capacity for nutrients. Opportunistic yeast can be expected to proliferate in these nutrient-rich cavities. To effectively neutralize the effects of acetaldehyde being excreted by each and every yeast cell, Wondro would have to thinly coat these villi in such a way that it was positioned to intercept the acetaldehyde molecules before they diffused across the intestinal wall and into the bloodstream.

        There is something in the news now about Miracle-Mineral-Supplement (Miracle Mineral Solution). The web site that was promoting it has been shut down because it contained sodium chlorite which has not been approved for ingestion. Claims were made that it had cured diabetes, cancer, etc. by clearing the body of "toxins". A web search for sodium chlorite shows that it can perform a non-enzymatic Pinnick reaction with aldehydes converting them into the corresponding carboxylic acid -- in other words, changing acetaldehyde into acetic acid. This is what the body is trying to do, using the enzyme aldehyde dehydrogenase, for the acetaldehyde that is being emitted by Candida Albicans but Ach is latching onto red blood cells and being ferried throughout the body before the liver detox can occur. So the common feature between Wondro and Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , that both claimed to cure a variety of diseases, is the acetaldehyde coming from the yeast. Wondro scavenged and bound to it so it could do no further harm and Miracle-Mineral-Supplement converted it into harmless acetic acid. There are side reactions possible with sodium chlorite that can create some potentially harmful by-products so it is likely not the best solution to the problem but finding the common mode-of-action thread reinforces the yeast -> acetaldehyde -> disease connection proposed by Truss once again.

        The fact that individuals who have used Miracle-Mineral-Supplement trade off one set of symptoms (Ach exposure) for another (ClO2 exposure) may be the elusive evidence that toxic acetaldehyde is indeed being produced in vivo. Fortunately, there are other less risk-prone methods that are just as effective for dealing with and reducing the production of acetaldehyde generated in this manner.
