Re: Minimalist Yeast Abatement Protocol

Beta 1,3 / 1,6 glucans are long-chain molecules that are common cell structural components in fungi.

They are found in the cell walls of Candida Albicans.

See Kapteyn et al. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC177097/

Supplementing with Beta 1,3 / 1,6 glucan may play a role in step three of the yeast abatement protocol:

• reactivate the body's own innate immune response to reduce yeast populations

Combining both an acetaldehyde scavenger and an immune system activator may have a synergistic effect for recovery by reducing acetaldehyde exposure in complementary modes of action.
