Dad worked sunup to sun down. We all did. A farm boy, logger and cowboy. Mother often worked. Never enough money, but my mother always made sure us boys ate healthy. They never spoke of love or respect but lived it every day. We all laughed and all loved to dance. My mother was a wonderful feisty red head. Left home at 19 to join the military.
