I once heard that babies are consummate narcissists. Think about it a bit and it makes sense. As a child develops, they are supposed to learn "other-thinking" - that there are others in the world - other people, other feelings, other ways of expression,etc. I think a narcissist is arrested in that development and never outgrows that "I AM " factor that a baby has. Only they have bigger bodies, a developed intellect, money and many other tools to take down their destructive path with them.... Tweet
