Dont you remember the old ladies in church with the little doilies on their heads?
That was what was left after years of covering, and the covering got smaller and smaller. And now the nuns do not cover, where as before they did.

Remember Little house on the prairie, always a bonnet when going out! Long dress, modesty. The men wore beards, more naturally as well.

This was because of scripture.

The Amish still cover in that same way.

Mother Teresa was following scripture as well.

My point? Well there is a thing called truth that runs throughout scripture. Some say you can follow it and some do, some say you dont have to and then don't.

About Women not being able to teach, there is some truth in the fact that Women may be a source of temptation to men if teaching in a manner that would compromise her modesty. Thats the safe route.
I know of know other circumstance where women are stalked, walked on, cheated on, considered disposable, despised, than societies where religious codes of morality are not applied.

I am talking about Justice, fairness, equality, love, preservation, morals, and yes
THAT IS ISLAM!
