Re: This post will be a strain on your Christianity.
I haven't ruled out the word of God, I clarified it. Jesus did not come to bring peace on earth so that everyone could just go on doing whatever they want regardless of it's morality, He came to make (introduce/create) a clear division between right and wrong.
Questions are good for exploring knowledge and to discover truth, but your questions are ones of captivity. The institutional church teaches us to be "good little soldiers" for the sake of the collection plate. It steals our identity and makes us conform to the book. They can only have control of a "collective", if we become individuals (to the separation of soul and spirit) so that the thoughts and intentions of our heart become a priority, then they will lose control because we will walk with God and not glorify them. "I am who I am" wants us to know who we are so that we can enjoy life. Knowing who we are also is what gives us a heart of flesh and enables us to feel sorrow for people. The Sermon on The Mount is all about what Jesus really wants from us. That can come ONLY from people who know who they are and have achieved a consciousness of themselves (tree of conscience). TRUE love (the SENTIMENT of love) can only be learned by understanding SORROW (GENUINE compassion), and isn't that the only objective that really matters...LOVE? That is what God is, the greatest of these,...is that not the Holy Grail (if there ever was one). God is not a book, God is LOVE.
I communicate with God by wanting to hear only His words. I decided to know nothing but Christ (1 Corinthians 2:2). His grace is sufficient for me.
