Re: try not being an idiot

I was responding to John after reading to the end of the string , it was a joke first of all, but i understand the confusion ,sorry!
But I dont know should christian women go againts the bible? And I agree with you totally as far the inconsistencies and excuses christian contstantly make up to justify their dogmatic controlling ways!
Seems they use and abuse the bible more to fulfill thier better then thou ways with a less then honest approach that just assures others they are really bigots and hypocrates. Well some of them in particular! Although many of them are good people just caught up in the dogma of the bible itself and its inconsistencies and the good ones wind up supporting the bad ones as a matter of fear I suppose, afraid that if they start on the road to questioning the bible and its dogmatist that it will become a road of no return, so its better to justify excuse and revise then to be honest and up front and let the chips fall where they may!
Just like other things in life a solid doctrine of any type should be able to stand on its own without this constant revision and apologetisists!
How can one take the bible literally one moment then the next make excuses for it???????????
