You have to read what is implied in passages as these , Lazarus in Abraham"s Bosom implies that he was saved, if he weren't he would not be there, we arn't told when ,where or how , but we do know that he believed GOD, which resulted in him being where he was, his condition of being sick,or poor just showed us his earthly condition,not his faith.
on the other hand we can tell a lot about the rich man, he was very rich, diden't love GOD,because he diden't follow his commandments, love thy brother,.
the rich man could have done much,because he had much, he chose to do nothing,was seffish, uncareing, therefore he ended up in hell , It wasen't his money that sent him to hell it was his heart.
