Re: Getting off of Xanax and AF recovery failure

Hey guys is anyone still active on this board? Because I am currently 2 years into very severe AF and 10 months into very severe Ativan withdrawal. I was only given the Ativan to counter the insomnia and anxiety from the AF with no knowledge of what was happening. Now, since I CT'd off of 2.5 mg for only 2 weeks use, it's 10 months later and I'm still in benzo hell and it has ruined my AF recovery. My benzo w/d is as bad as anyone I've seen on benzobuddies (I'm Clark on that forum) and it is like a weight holding me down from recovering from AF. I know this pain all too well. And yes, as Mikey says, AF becomes much less severe after experiencing benzo w/d. It's like we've experience the suffering of 10 lifetimes jammed into 1 or 2 years.
