Thank you for this info. I will store a batch in a mason jar covered with 3-4 layers of cheese cloth and see how that goes.
And I totally forgot to mention this. The batch that developed maggots was boiled first. I had no idea about the bacteria being a part of aging process then. So I guess I probably killed of the bacteria and then when I stored it something went haywire.
And Yesterday while boil-reducing urine I left it on for long that it reduced too much. And it formed the same stench as in old urine.Maybe its just the ammonia smell n not the putrifying smell in old urine as I thought.
