Re: Urine fast day 8 of 30

That's something I've always wondered about. We're told urine is antibacterial. So how can there be a problem with bacteria growing in it?

I no longer worry about ingesting slightly older urine (but not more than one day old), especially since I've started adding propolis to it. Propolis is also strongly antibacterial.

Never heard of maggots growing in old urine. I have some very old stuff and nothing like that in it. It's amber colored and smells strongly of ammonia.

In a previous post Von Bingen, you said if old urine is stored in an open container, the smell is not too strong. You're probably right. Mine is tightly capped.
