Re: Digestive issues after eating. Tried all alternative solutions.
It really does seem like your problem is with some kind of bacterial overgrowth. Even though you don't normally experience gas, bloating is basically the outcome of bacteria producing harmful by-products in the intestine and/or colon. This diagnosis is the most likely outcome from taking the medications you stated as they all through intestinal bacteria out of balance. One clue is that you mentioned that when you drink kefir/eat yogurt, you have more regular bowel movements. When you drink kefir or eat yogurt, it temporarily loads your intestines with good bacteria and corrects things but in the long run could make things worse by just adding more and more bacteria into the mix. Do not take any probiotics with your symptoms. My advise would be to take something to get the intestines moving as much as possible without taking fiber. Fiber will most certainly increase your bloating symptoms but you can still eat natural whole grains just don't take anything like psyllium husk. Take natural herbs that stimulate the intestines to move. I currently have about one bowel movement a day which is not healthy, so I take triphala which is a natural ayurvedic supplement to keep the bowels moving. Or look into other
Bowel Cleanses whatever will work for you. When you have regular bowel movements, excess bacteria should come out and come back into balance also. If you still have problems you can also take any kind of
parasite clease which will also work to balance bacteria, yes it will kill some of the good bacteria but in general you just need to decrease the amount of bacteria in your gut.
