Fascist propaganda.
First article is from Rand corporation.
Second article is written by an ex-DEA administrator.
Third article written by ex-employee of Office of National Drug Control Policy under Clinton Administartion.
These people all have vested interest in the current oppressive fascist world regime.
Then there is sarnia...here is an example of their foolish reasoning.
"And when cocaine is combined with marijuana, it can be deadly. According to a study in Pharmacology, Biochemistry and Behavior, an increase in heart rate due to cocaine was markedly enhanced if preceded by smoking marijuana.[14] The dual use creates greater risk of overdose and more severe cardiovascular effects from the cocaine. An article in Schizophrenia Research found that up to 60 percent of schizophrenic patients used non-prescription psychoactive drugs.[15]"
Unfortunately I am not able to review the sources for this statement. I can say that the first sentence is not referenced and is pure speculation, it distorts the truth that they really don't know how the combination of the two substances work together. First there is no information on the type or concentration of cocaine, and the same can be said for the Cannabis study. Secondly, we do not know of the agricultural circumstances regarding the production of the Marijuana or cocaine. Therefore it cannot be ruled out that their very well could be significant factors which effected the substances production. The subjects of the next study also seem to have been picked from schizphrenic patients, the assumption is drawn that the patients are in their schizophrenic condition as a result of psychoactive drugs.
Question: Is caffeine included in the study? Because coffee is a known psychoactive substance.
These articles are riddled with false assumptions like the above.
I have seen the system first hand destroy people for their life for non-violent drug offence. It constantly happens and anybody that says otherwise lives in a fantasy land.
"Washington, DC: Police arrested an estimated 723,627 persons for marijuana violations in 2001, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's annual Uniform Crime Report, released today. The total is the second highest ever recorded by the FBI, and comprises nearly half of all drug arrests in the United States."
